The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering Science is located on the Gummersbach campus of TH Köln. The campus is characterized by a very good technical infrastructure and innovative learning spaces. With 30 professors in the Computer Science teaching unit, the location is one of the strongest in this field. Your area of work
In teaching, you represent the area of responsibility in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering Science. You will hold lectures in German and English. You will be actively involved in the strategic development of mathematics teaching and the Faculty's engineering degree programs. With your research activities, you will strengthen the profile of the faculty and actively acquire third-party funding. You will be actively involved in self-administration and be prepared to take on responsibility.
Your profile
You have a university degree in a STEM subject and a doctorate. You have experience in statistical methods in artificial intelligence, ideally in various application contexts or in engineering. You have at least five years of relevant professional experience, including at least three years outside of academia.
Ideally, you have already gained experience in teaching. You have the ability to align your own thoughts and actions with the long-term goals of the university and the ability to reliably develop solutions in an interdisciplinary manner and based on a division of labor.
