The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering Science is located on the Gummersbach campus of TH Köln. The campus is characterized by a very good technical infrastructure and innovative learning spaces. With 30 professors in the Computer Science teaching unit, the location is one of the strongest in this field. Your area of work
The successful candidate will take on teaching responsibilities in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Science. Lectures will be held in German and English. You will be actively involved in strategically developing mathematics teaching and the Faculty's computer science degree programs. Your research activities will strengthen the faculty profile and actively acquire third-party funding. You will be actively involved in self-administration and be prepared to take on responsibility.

Your profile
You have a university degree, preferably in a STEM subject, and a doctorate. You have experience in data-driven modelling, ideally in various application contexts. You have at least five years of relevant professional experience, including at least three years outside of academia.
Ideally, you have already gained experience in teaching. You can aligne your own thoughts and actions with the long-term goals of the university and the ability to develop solutions in an interdisciplinary and collaborative manner.
