Your area of work
You teach in your area of expertise at Bachelor's and Master's level on the faculty's programmes. You deliver lectures in both German and English. You strengthen the faculty's profile through your research activities and by actively acquiring research funding. You work independently and are prepared to take responsibility.
 
Your profile
You have a university degree in the engineering sciences, preferably mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computational engineering or physics and you have a relevant doctoral degree in a subject of engineering. You have relevant competences in system modelling, simulation, multi physics simulation, and /or experimental studies. You have excellent and designated competences in CAD and, ideally, experience in project and process management in circular product development and design.
You have at least five years of professional experience, including at least three years outside the higher education sector, in product development and/or machine or system development.

 Ideally, you already have experience in teaching and feel dedicated to education of the highest didactic quality.  You have an outstanding ability to align your thinking and actions with the University's long-term goals, and to reliably develop interdisciplinary solutions based on a division of labour. Ideally, you have experience in entrepreneurial thinking and working and understand the importance of sustainability as a guiding principle in research and teaching. You are interested to contribute to the university´s goals with your curious, proactive and practice-oriented mentality.
