- Independent research within the framework of the DFG project “Cultural Memory in Crisis” with an individual qualification project focusing on “Cultural Assets and Heritage”
- Presentation, discussion and publication of individual research results within the framework of the DFG project and at other scientific events
- Responsibility for teaching in the Research Master Studies of the DFG project (2 SWS)
- Collaboration in the conception and organisation of an international conference (e.g. programme development, public relations, moderation)
- Contribution to the DFG project’s transfer activities (including preparation of own research for transfer, communication with project members and external co-researchers)
- Support to the organisation and implementation of workshops and summer schools
- Support for the monthly colloquia of the “Cultural Assets and Heritage” research unit
- Collaboration in the project council
Your skills
- University degree (master’s level) and excellent doctoral degree in conservation sciences, monument preservation, art history or a comparable discipline
- Research experience in the field of cultural memory, cultural assets and cultural heritage and/or climate change
- Knowledge of discourses on cultural memory, conservation ethics or monument preservation
- Ideally, experience as a research assistant at a university, university of applied sciences, or other research institution
- Knowledge of planning and conducting academic courses
- Experience in event management (e.g. organisation of scientific conferences, workshops or curatorial projects)
- Experience with academic committee work is an advantage
- Confident use of common MS Office programmes
- Very good German and English skills
- Reliability and a careful, analytical and cooperative approach to work
