Research Assistant (m/f/d) in the Field of Digital Methods in Architecture01.09.2026 | temporary for 36 month | part time with 37,5% | Faculty of Architecture | Campus Deutz
- Support for teaching and research activities in the “Computational Design in Architecture” department of the School of Architecture
- Contribute to the further development of teaching and research on digital methods in architecture
- A doctoral dissertation related to the project is a possibility
- Supervising student groups in the “Computational Design” track within the bachelor’s and master’s programs, particularly in the “Spatial Strategies” master’s specialization
- Supporting the department’s organizational activities, as well as preparing and facilitating field trips, lectures, conferences, and publications
- Master’s degree in architecture, design, or a related field
- Excellent proficiency in computer-aided design methods and digital fabrication technologies
- Extensive experience using standard and advanced software applications in architecture
- Solid programming skills and extensive experience using generative AI
- High level of expertise in design, creativity, and construction
- Proficiency in CAD, BIM, visual programming, and graphics and layout software
- Experience in setting up and programming databases
- Excellent command of German and English
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Remuneration according to EG 13 TV-L (tariff agreement for the public servants of the federal states)
